Tim has over 12 years experience working at the intersection of creative, design and technology, pioneering work that defines meaningful brands.

Most recently Creative Director for IBM and part of AKQA San Francisco’s creative leadership group, he led a wildly talented team to deliver global brand, product and experience projects across Watson, Watson Health, Cloud and IBM Design.

Prior to this, Tim was Digital Creative Director at Leo Burnett in Melbourne, where during his 4 years there, rose to a top 10 agency in the world. His creative and design leadership was instrumental in influencing and growing the digital department and its integrated process within the agency. He drove innovation through initiatives such as Reword, an online anti-bullying tool that educates young teens on proper internet behavior. It’s been recognized through the industry with a Creativity for Good yellow pencil at D&AD, as well as 2 Gold Cannes Lions and Grand Prix for Good at Spikes Asia, but above all it offered a solution to a very real issue. Previously Tim has also worked at brand consultancies SouthSouthWest and Hub Group as well as global digital agency, Isobar.

His work is consistently recognized at Cannes Lions, One Show, London International Awards, D&AD, Clio, Adfest, Webbys, Young Guns, Spikes Asia, AWARD, Effie Awards, and The FWA, and he has won over 300 creative, design and effectiveness awards. Beyond industry accolades, his work is also featured in Wired, Good Morning America, Mashable, NPR, CNN, 9 News, Daily Telegraph, Net magazine, and more. And, Tim has personally been selected as winner of the global Publicis90 start-up program.

Tim has judged Cannes Future Lions, The Webby Awards and Vega Digital Awards. Through creativity, design and technology he continues to create brands that thrive.
